Jannali Moonrise Festival is a free celebration of local creativity, community and Aboriginal heritage. Box Road and the town centre become a festival precinct with music, cultural performances, market stalls, workshops and activities for families. The event takes its name from Jannali's Aboriginal meaning, place of the moon, and is supported by Kurranulla Aboriginal Corporation. Food vendors and local businesses offer refreshments to purchase. Jannali Station is opposite the precinct, while road closures reduce nearby parking. Check the official event website before attending for the latest dates, times, programme, entry arrangements and any changes or cancellations.
