About The Event

Gamilaraay/Gamilaroi artist Juanita McLauchlan transforms reclaimed blankets and natural fibres through dyeing, stitching, felting and quilting. Her first South Australian exhibition includes an immersive installation exploring family, cultural continuity, belonging and connection to Country. Visit JamFactory’s free exhibition between 12 February and 4 April. Published gallery hours are 10am to 5pm daily. The textile environment brings together dyed and stitched blankets, silk and possum fur.
