OUT of ABINGDON
The first time I heard OUT of ABINGDON was some years ago, when they performed at Coast Acoustics and I had the privilege of introducing them as MC. I still remember being amazed by just how good they were, and the rousing applause they received at the end of their set.
Warwick Hargreaves and Tina Fullerton create soulful, acoustic lounge music, blending bluesy guitar, double bass and warm, sultry vocals into a sound that is both soothing and irresistibly grooving.
Performing and touring together for more than 15 years, the duo have built a loyal following across Australia and have also toured extensively through Europe and the UK, appearing in jazz clubs in Edinburgh, Berlin and Paris. Their fifth album, Red Dirt Tracks, was released in 2024, with more new music on the way.
Drawing inspiration from blues, jazz and contemporary artists ranging from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Björk, OUT of ABINGDON are difficult to place in a single genre. What stands out is their musicianship, their onstage chemistry and their genuine love of performing.

Please note: Due to a recent increase in venue hire fees we have had to increase the open mic entry fee from a gold coin donation to $5. This is still a very cheap way to enjoy an afternoon of wonderfully talented musicians and keep the club viable so we have a space to showcase our talented members.

It's your moment to shine in our welcoming, creative community. Sign-ups are first-come, first-served, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot!
